British 4×100 team primed for Rio

James Dasaolu, alongside teammates Adam Gemili, James Ellington and CJ Ujah lit up the Anniversary Games on Saturday afternoon.

Representing Great Britain A, the team posted a World lead time of 37.78, just ahead of Great Britain B who ran 37.81 with Ojie Edoburun impressing in the final 100.

“We know with a bit more practice over the next few weeks, that British record is there for the taking,” reflected James. “It was a great team effort from the A team and B team, it’s strong running from everyone.”

The team will now fly to Rio in the coming weeks for the Olympic Games.
