Dasaolu safely through to Final

James Dasaolu safely negotiated round one of the British Championships on Friday evening. The European Champion won heat 3 with relative ease qualifying with a run of 10.48.

Dasaolu will now line-up alongside his former training partner Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and former British Champion Dwain Chambers in the second semi final at 14.27. The first two from each of the three semi finals plus the two fastest times will qualify for the final.

James won his semi final with a run of 10.18 ahead of Aikines-Aryeetey (10.21) and Dwain Chambers who qualified as a fastest third place in 10.31.

The final is at 3.50pm live from Birmingham – available to watch on the BBC’s red button.
