Dasaolu through to semis in Zurich

Great Britain sprinter James Dasaolu cruises into the IAAF European Championship Semi Final tomorrow after a comfortable run in the heats this evening.

The Croydon-born athlete won his heat with a time of 10.22 seconds and will now line-up in the semi final starting at 19.23 on Wednesday.

“It’s all about energy conservation to help me run well again tomorrow,” explained Dasaolu. “It was easy enough, I’m just happy to get through. Anything can happen.”
