Dasaolu wins 100m at Continental Cup

Great Britain’s James Dasaolu won the IAAF Continental Cup 100m title tonight with a time of 10.03 into a -0.1 wind.

The result, ahead of America’s Mike Rodgers and Asia’s Femi Ogunode, gives Europe a maximum eight points for the race.

“Definitely, 2014 is year of my big breakthrough,” said James in Marrakech. “After my win at European Championships I was focused in preparation for Continental Cup because it was important for me to make this race fast and easy.”

“This is a little bit of a new level for me and I hope the next year will be successful like this one.”
