James D reaches Olympic Semi Final

James Dasaolu’s individual sprint campaign came to an end on Sunday evening, just missing out on a spot in the 100m final.

The Croydon-born sprinter had qualified for through the heats after being drawn next to Usain Bolt for the second Olympic Games in a row. James ran 10.18 to put him into the semi finals.

In the semi finals James had been drawn in lane one and ran an improved time of 10.16 but missed out on a final spot despite a better start in the race.
