Preparing for Beijing

With less than two weeks before the first event at the World Championships in Beijing, we caught up with James for an insight into his preparation.

“Since the Anniversary Games in London, I have been preparing for the World Championships in Japan,” revealed the GB Sprinter. “As the Champs are held in Beijing, China, it’s important for me to acclimatise.”

“Most of the GB team will be out here as part of their preparation. The conditions are really hot, so its great to start getting used to the heat.”

“I’m really looking forward to the Championships. It’s always an honour to represent my country on the world stage.”

The Men’s 100m preliminary rounds will take place on Saturday 22nd August 2015 at 12:40pm local time (5:40am in the UK). The heats are later that day at 7:20pm (12.20pm UK time).
